ABEM

ABEM facilitates llsa learning by identifying an annual set of LLSA readings to guide diplomats in self-study of recent EM literature. Emergency Medicine Physicians must complete the annual Lifelong Learning Self-Assessment (LLSA) test on the ABEM website based upon the contents of these articles.

Each of the 20 ABEM LLSA articles has been summarized by a LLSA Prep Medicine faculty member with expertise in that area. These summaries stress the key points of the article, providing the information crucial to passing the 2005 ABEM LLSA exam.

ABEM Prep provides emergency medicine residents with a succinct, didactic review of key emergency medicine concepts for the qualifying exam. This elegantly designed peer-reviewed course is intended strengthen your EM knowledge and prepare you for the exam. The American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) has approved guidelines for a five-year combined training program

ABEM

ABEM certifies qualifying physicians who specialize in Emergency Medicine and is a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties. ABEM certification is sought and earned by physicians on a voluntary basis. ABEM and other ABEM member boards certify only those physicians who meet high educational, professional standing, and examination standards.
